<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>A significant increase in the number of so-called «deferred» patients for whom planned operations were postponed to a later date after the acute phase closer to the post-pandemic phase of COVID-19 creates serious problems for the health care system of various countries, forcing surgeons to take a more proactive strategy to treat these patients and prevent them further growth. It is known that currently, according to various estimates, the world has accumulated 28 million deferred operations during the peak period of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is also the problem of providing routine surgical care to patients who have had an asymptomatic form of the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection. Until today, the degree of safety of patients, medical personnel who have undergone asymptomatic or symptomatic forms of COVID-19 remains insufficiently clear. Most researchers believe that the selection of patients for planned surgical interventions should be based on a comprehensive, comprehensive assessment of the condition of patients who have undergone COVID-19, and operations should be performed in compliance with anti-epidemic measures, the use of personal protective equipment by medical personnel and patients</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>новая коронавирусная инфекция COVID-19</kwd><kwd>отбор к плановым оперативным вмешательствам</kwd><kwd>предоперационное обследование</kwd><kwd>сроки до операций</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>new coronavirus infection COVID-19</kwd><kwd>selection for planned operations</kwd><kwd>preoperative examination</kwd><kwd>terms before operations</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Bui N., Coeter M., Schenning KJ, O`Glasser A.Y.
