<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p> Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the fourth most common cancer in the world and the third most common cause of death from cancer. The incidence of CRC increases with age. According to available literature data, comorbidity increases the risk of complications in surgical treatment of CRC (for example, according to some data, the incidence of anastomotic leakage in patients with comorbid diseases increases by 82%, and there is also an increase in 30-day postoperative mortality in the first 30 days to 6.0%). In this regard, it is necessary to develop certain approaches (comprehensive examination of patients at the preoperative stage, decision on the formation of a primary anastomosis and preventive intestinal stoma) to the prevention of postoperative complications in this group of patients.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>колоректальный рак</kwd><kwd>сердечно-сосудистые заболевания</kwd><kwd>коморбидность</kwd><kwd>факторы риска</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>colorectal cancer</kwd><kwd>cardiovascular diseases</kwd><kwd>comorbidity</kwd><kwd>risk factors</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Cancer TODAY | IARC. https://gco.iarc.who.int/today.
