<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Reverse shoulder arthroplasty is currently a common operation, despite this, debates continues about various aspects of the biomechanics of reverse endoprosthesis. In particular, there is no consensus in the medical literature about the function of the subscapularis muscle. Several clinical and biomechanical studies have been conducted to analyze its role in joint stability and influence on range of motion. Some results suggest that the subscapularis muscle improves joint stability but may limit joint range of motion.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>подлопаточная мышца</kwd><kwd>объем движений</kwd><kwd>вывих эндопротеза</kwd><kwd>реверсивное эндопротезирование плечевого сустава</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>subscapularis muscle</kwd><kwd>range of motion</kwd><kwd>endoprosthesis dislocation</kwd><kwd>reverse shoulder arthroplasty</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Gerber C, Yian EH, Pfirrmann CA, Zumstein MA.
